Supervises assigned clinical staff in supporting the nutrition care needs for all patient populations within the CW system. This role also has clinical responsibilities.
Requires a Dietitian Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR);
Certification as Dietitian with the State of Wisconsin (applied for upon hire).
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree or certification in a specialty area of clinical nutrition required within one year of hire.
4 years of clinical nutrition experience.
Previous experience with an electronic medical record preferred.
Exhibits guiding behaviors that reflect Children’s values and support our mission and vision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively gather and share information with physicians; counsel and instruct families; participate in a multi-disciplinary team in provision of nutritional care; and provide effective coaching and counseling to direct reports.
Requires advanced organizational skills to set priorities and organize work.
Ability to independently assess patients and their conditions; interpret available data; and evaluate recommendations, outcomes, and patient/family comprehension.
Additional Posting Description
This is a full-time position for a supervisor who will oversee outpatient clinical dietitians in the Milwaukee area and 5 other Southeast regional sites. Typical workdays are Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week. Outpatient clinics are not open holidays or weekends. This role also has clinical responsibilities in an outpatient specialty area.
