Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
Manages individualized, goal directed nursing care through use of the nursing process and the principles of primary nursing in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures and standards of nursing practice.

REQUIREMENTS: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alaska or eligible to obtain license; BLSP certification from the American Heart Association; minimum of two years experience in an acute care setting. Two years oncology/cancer care preferred along with one year chemotherapy administration experience. ACLS from the American Heart Association within one year of employment; certification in Oncology nursing is required within eighteen months of employment.

Schedule: Full Time, Day, Needs to follow Nursing Contract-Day shift
