Maintenance Technician – Lafayette, LA

Maintenance Technician for commercial office and retail space in the Lafayette area.
Qualified candidates must be professional, outgoing, friendly and coachable. The goal of the position is to provide tenants with a clean, well maintained and fully functioning working environment. To accomplish this goal, the responsibilities of the maintenance technician include general repairs to the office spaces / common areas of the buildings and grounds, trash removal, emergency repairs, minor construction with painting and sheetrock.
This position has the following requirements: hands-on experience with basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems (general HVAC knowledge). Physical requirements include being able to lift 75 lbs., climb ladders and stairs, walk between buildings and on roofs, stoop, kneel, and bend. Applicant will also be required to complete drug screening and a background check.
Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. Work may also be required some nights and weekends when there are emergency situations. Applicants must furnish their own reliable, insured transportation; we reimburse your mileage.
