Maintenance Technician – Waverly, VA

McGill Environmental Systems of NC, a leader in the organic waste recycling and compost manufacturing industry, is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Technician in our Waverly, Va composting facility.
This position will be responsible for:

Performing maintenance work on screens, conveyors, and heavy equipment such as front-end loaders and excavators.
Maintaining all maintenance inventory.
Prioritizing and reporting on various maintenance issues.
May work with and/or direct maintenance subcontractors on site.
May work with other maintenance technicians on group projects as assigned.

The successful candidate will possess:

A minimum of 3 years heavy equipment maintenance experience preferred.
The ability to work in a team environment.
The ability to read and interpret standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
The ability to work daily overtime, and some weekends, as needed.
