Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The Accounting Clerk is responsible to perform a variety of accounting transactions as well as provide financial support to functions associated to purchasing, receiving and shipping of materials within multiple companies. The roles of this position include, but not limited to maintain general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries for accruals and variances, issue bills and invoices, track payments, prepare documents and reports, reconcile charges, validate expenses, and verify correct accounts are being utilized in Infor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
5 years’ previous experience in different Accounting functions
Expert in Accounting best practices, structure, and reports
Experience with ERP system (Financial module), preferably Infor
Experience with QuickBooks
Strict adherence to company’s standards, directive, and mission
Strong authority to enforce procedures and red flags in case of noncompliance
Multi-tasker, collaborative, thorough, and inclusive
Thorough, critical thinking to improve processes
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
